can't be as bad as he was at Batley.He was rubbish for both teams' but he seems to have it in for Ned.

From what i heard, ned was a clear sin bin proffesnal foul, holding down to allow the line to re-set, dont know about you.
But i think its a good pick.

The man is totally incompetent and couldn't referee a conker match!!

Maybe if you were there you would of seen it not heard it. It was no pro foul. It was a poorly reffed game for both sides at Batley.

The sin bin was a close call; however you have to look at the history. He sent Ned off last year and one of the first scrums he pulls Ned out and warns him for something. It APPEARED to be a bit of a vendetta

Yes it was. He deliberately prevented a quick ptb after the batley break-away which would have resulted in an almost certain try! A def yellow - from a neutral that wanted Batley to win!!
Most of the Barrow fans around me agreed with the decision.

Curtley u think every ref is a decent ref though, the one from fax away u rated at 9/10 on his performance..

It was an okay performance at fax, i cant remember him being that bad, the same ref hicks, did the nrc final, and was good. So cant of been that bad.

got to be honest here curtley i have never heard you say a bad word about any ref even when some of there displays have been really poor you still manage to find a good word for them is it a ref thing or something where you all stick up for each other.

no thing, as ill tell you what i thought of tonights performce live-
1) he seemed to fanny around, ie talking to the tj and the decioson a scrum is given, tj should be only used for touch and foul play, and the rest is through coms.
2) he gives the correct calls, but tackles after it happens, the fax offside on our line, they were off thr first, second, all on in the third and he blows, same with holding down etc, think he must work on a two strike policy?
3) missed the little scuffle between ned and there player early on.
Id try and find a positive, but i can atm.
Yellow flag tj did okay, red missed and forward pass.
Obstruction disallowed try live it seemed that the play played for the penalty, running into the forward, and then asked the ref to check it. It should of been refs call. But he just missed it,

far one gave a fax forward pass that the ref missed, could tell because he stopped running while the ref followed play for a second

WhaT on about? I dont just watch the ref, but if you watch the game, you usally see his decison, the commmt i said when we were talking about the ref, a few weeks ago it was a reserve game which we didnt pay for, used a refs pass
