'Strong Leigh outfit'? No way, Leigh had eight first teamers out injured, and 'Haven appeared to be missing a few too!

In reality, the game could have gone either way. Hardly classic RL, but hugely exciting, as usual, between these two sides. Probably all hinged on the double sin-binning of Joe, and Jackson, just before half time. As a 'Leyther' I thought the decisions were right, but if they'd gone against us, I would have been incensed! I thought 'Haven probably played the better rugby, but full marks to Leigh, for persistence.

'Hard luck 'Haven'? Well, you got that right, anyway!
