I would imagine a good few of the Haven players will be heading in the Town direction if they get into super league. How many of the current Haven side, who work at Sellafield, would be willing to give up a well paid job with pension and other company benefits to spend a year in the super league? With two teams being relegated next year to allow the introduction of the French team this would be the likely scenario for Haven.

Sellafield have agreed to release the players with full pay for 12month should this scenario arise so no problem

You know everything else so you should know this.
The reason is, he is playing how Mcormack wants him to play and not his usual game he can only play on the left under this system and he likes freedom of the field.
Mcormack is the one who is wrong in changing the way he plays.
Leroy is class and will be class again when Mcormack sees sense and uses players to their strengths.

He hasn't recovered from the injury he got. He missed all the off season and put on alot of weight and has lost pace and isn't the same player he has been given his chance on the left at Featherstone and Oldham and he was terrible so don't blame Stevie Mac he has led the club to the best year in there history and you are having a go at me for slagging people off look at yourself.

I didn't say he was a left sided player dipsh*t i said he was a freedom of field player.
As for Steve Mac yes he has just led us to our best season but god only knows how?
The guy is a decent coach but a Paul Cullen he isn't.
Had he played to our strengths on final day we could have done better.
Just look at the leigh coach he got his players to stop Fats off loading, stop Sam moving, cut out calverts supply and hit all our forwards.
Why did our players not attack Tommy Martyn or Rowley or stop Turley running because they weren't told to.

We played totally to our strengths in the final from what you have said all i can say is how often do you watch Whitehaven we only lost because we run out of energy and nobody is too blame for that the players go out to play 80 not 100 reason we lost. Our strength are the forwards and that's the way we played in the final. I never said it makes me a better fan just saying i'm not a glory hunter. How can anyone blame Steve for Leroy being crap. Steve dosen't tell Leroy to kick all the way into touch he didn't tell him to miss tackles on Tommy Martyn twice in Final and ATC semi he dosen't tell him to get Nanyn killed with suicide passes. Steve is a great coach even Colin Morris said on Friday he believes he is the best British coach in the game although i wouldn't go that far.

Because Steve is telling Leroy to do what he simply can't. Why mess with his game by telling him how to play it (let me know if that made any sense).

You say you go to all the games where were you at Craven park on tuesday night in the CC cause you weren't at Hull.
If PC had the squad steve had we would have walked the league this season and many fans agree on that.
Fact is you can praise Steve has highly as you want but he fu**ed up tactics in all but 1 game against Leigh.
If Leroy is so poor and Steve is so good why does he keep playing him?
As for me not knowing about the game guess again i played for the Haven for 8 brilliant seasons so a child like you will not tell me any different.

I have actually criticised Steve alot for playing Leroy all season i've wanted Walshy in at stand off and a proper forward in at loose forward as in my view Walshy is a back. Everyone gets to a point where there game isn't as good as it was and Leroy helped by injury has reached that point.
I also think we would have won the league if Cullen had these players but we haven't got Cullen so get over it.
Yes i missed the East Hull game on a Tuesday i was ready to go on the Saturday and Swinton on a Tuesday both away as i think school is abit more important. I also missed Oldham at home this year. 3 games missed since July last year isn't bad for a glory hunter.
I actually remember Steve Maguire a decent player loose forward and kicked goals until Anderson started kicking them if i remember correctly he played under Kurt Sorensen.
Can we not now congratulate the players and coaching staff for what has been a magnificent year.

Walsh has been our best player this season and it's mostly down to his change in positions. He's proved to be a revelation as a `loose-forward`, he should be left there.

Walshy plays like an old fashioned loose forward. He has been a revalation this year. To move him from that position would be a crime. Whilst he is not in the class of Iveson, Katralius or others of that vintage, as an out and out number 13 he is the best I have seen all season.
Leroy has not had his best season. I do not know the reason, I think the early season injury may have affected him, it may be that he was expected to play in a different manner this season. However I thik his tackling has been exceptional. Give the guy a break, at present we seem to be examining our navels and nit picking instead of realising that we have had a great season.
I think we need to keep the faith in SM

He's played so well because he is actually playing more than once a season last time he played centre he scored a hat trick Dewsbury away last year he hasn't even been given a chance in centre which has always been his best position and i now think he has the pace and defensive abilities to become a top class centre.
