The Board of Hull Kingston Rovers have issued a press statement relating to a forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) following the receipt of a letter from a major shareholder of the club.

Hull Kingston Rovers have recently received a letter from a major shareholder calling for an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting).

With this in mind the company has agreed to the request and an EGM has been scheduled for the 25th November 2003 at Craven Park.

All agenda items will be discussed by the shareholders on the evening and therefore it would be inappropriate to make any further comment until this protocol has been actioned.

Nick Halafihi,
Chief Executive

EGM UPDATE
Date: 05/11/2003

Hull Kingston Rovers have released a further press statement following the announcement of the EGM on the 25th November.

Further to the companis press release on the 31st October and in order to prevent incorrect reports and popular opinion from prejudicing the truth. The club would like to make it clear that it was the "Trustees" of the "Hull Kingston Rovers Fighting Fund" that called for the above EGM.

This was done on the basis that in their belief the board was not working in complete unity for the best interests of Hull Kingston Rovers.

Nick Halafihi,
Chief Executive.

I'm hopeful the rumors are true that the once famous wovers are in the sh!t again. Apparently the board members are at each other’s throats over the financial position of the club. Like I say, it's just a rumor, but you know they say, "there's never smoke without fire”" laugh.gif laugh.gif

What about the fact that Hull Super League have not filed any Accounts and are being fined.

Last time they filed them they were not only skint but actually mortgaging their future income. by selling future income to factors by a charge on the `assets-presumably` the bank overdraft had reached its limit.

Kettle and Black again

Get your proxies sent to Colin Nc Nichol.

The one thing different about KR is we do have a say it what goes on which is more than the goat can say about his Gateshead controlled Club.

Which by the way owes Super League (Europe) £250,000.
